JAWS SOUND is an independent audio software brand from Japan. We make plugins that solve real mixing and production problems without slowing you down.
Many plugins ask for a long list of decisions before you hear anything. We think a tool should have simple controls, a clear purpose, and a result you can hear straight away.
We want you to spend less time on settings and more time making music. That goes for producing, mixing vocals, shaping drums, and building a track from scratch.
English + Kanji
Every JAWS SOUND product has an English name and a Japanese Kanji name. For example:
- Gloss Voice — 艶声 —
- Kick Elephant — 象踏 —
- Bass Fang — 低牙 —
The English name says what the plugin does. The Kanji name describes the character of its sound.
It is our way of bringing a Japanese identity into modern music production tools.
Built by a music producer
JAWS SOUND started from a simple frustration: too many plugins, too many options, and too much time spent tweaking.
So rather than build another toolbox with everything in it, we make tools that get you to the sound you want, quickly.
The plugins are designed by a music producer, for music producers, based on real mixing and production work.
Fewer controls
We don’t add features for their own sake. We care about the result.
If a plugin can do the job with fewer controls and fewer decisions, it is a better plugin. You should be listening, not digging through menus.
