LOW CUT
Removes sub-lows and rumble you don't need. Choose a slope of 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 dB/oct.
LOW
Sets low-end weight and body. Thicken kicks and bass, or lighten vocals and instruments that feel too heavy.
LOW MID
Covers the range where warmth, boxiness and mud collect. It is easy to over- or under-cut, so adjust it while watching the curve and analyzer.
MID
The core range that sets a sound's center and character. Bring vocals and instruments forward, or pull back harsh parts, to set their place in the mix.
PRESENCE
Adjusts attack, clarity and definition. Make lyrics easier to follow, push snares and guitars forward, or soften hard edges.
AIR
Adjusts openness and air at the top. As a high shelf, it adds brightness to vocals or the whole mix.
Curve View
Drag a band point on the curve to set its frequency and gain. The large display shows the whole balance, so you are not working from numbers alone.
Selected Band Controls
Fine-tune the selected band: ±12 dB of gain, 20 Hz–20 kHz of frequency.
AUDITION
Hear only the area around the selected band. Find resonances, mud, excess lows or piercing highs without switching the EQ on and off.
PRE / POST Analyzer
Switch the background analyzer between the signal before and after the EQ. See which ranges are too loud, and how your EQ changed the balance.
INPUT / OUTPUT
Set input and output gain against the level meters. Gain-stage before the EQ and match levels after it, so a change in loudness doesn't fool your ears.
RESET
Returns every EQ setting to its default. The change is smoothed, so you can reset during playback.
